Guild Ranks and Promotion

Rank 1 : Initiate

Requirement(s) :
  • (None)


  • Any member of the guild may participate in guild activities and speak in the guild chat channel.

    Rank 2 : Duelist

    Requirement(s) :
  • Attend 1 official guild event.

  • Pass a short quiz over guild policy given by an officer. (Policies link above.)

  • Introduce yourself on the guild forums. (Forums link above.)


  • Having seen what it is to be a Duelist by attending a guild event and demonstrating his or her knowledge of guild policy by taking a quick quiz with an officer, initiates are promoted to full membership. Once a fully a part of the guild, members enjoy exemption from service charges by guild members for professional services and may invite others to join the guild as new initiates.

    Rank 3 : Gladiator

    Requirement(s) :
  • Attend 10 official guild events.

  • Purchase a tabard.

  • Post 10 messages in the guild forums.


  • Anyone who reaches gladiator rank has demonstrated a willingness to regularly participate in guild functions and loyalty to the guild. Hence, gladiators may freely organize official guild events to their liking.

    Rank 4 : Captain

    Requirement(s) :
  • Attend 15 official guild events.

  • Organize 5 official guild events.

  • Achieve corporal PvP rank.

  • Post 25 messages in the guild forums.


  • The second highest rank of the Duelists' Guild, a captain exhibits maturity, responsibility, experience, loyalty and leadership ability. Truly an achievement! Captains may promote members to the duelist and gladiator ranks.

    Rank 5 : Officer

    Requirement(s) :
  • Vote by current officers and guildmaster.


  • Officers are charged with the responsibility of maintaining the overall well-being of the guild and its membership. It is a relatively heavy responsibility, taken on by volunteering captains that the current leadership deems mature and responsible enough to be trusted with the tools of supervision and enforcement. Officers have access to all guild functions, but are subject to demotion in the event of misuse.
